Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially from the shadows that she saw in the grasses of trees and the shadows she saw on the trees, she set out in developing a process that does not portray the object in a 2D image. The subject has been transformed into the artist's own image, and the surface takes an interpretation by the artist. It is most effective for objects that are living as well as items that have a shelf life like people or fruits. Alexa Meade's work is ephemeral and the image is what is left. Trompe l'oeil is achieved through the combination of two methods of photographing and painting. It creates two-dimensional flattened photograph. Meade sometimes integrates her paintings within the three-dimensional space surrounding the figures. They can interact in the world she has created for herself. The boundaries between performance, photography, installation and painting is thus broken.
