Niykee is still writing songs despite having been caught up in the latest turmoil. Her selection was made for her participation in YouTube Brandcast by Snoop and he accompanied her on stage. Niykee says that when she grows as a lyricist, the painful memories of her youth serve as inspiratoin. It's tough to forget the painful memories from my early years, particularly the loss of my sister. They end up being included in her songs. My music is formed by this and I am able to sense the deep meaning behind everything. It's among the elements that is crucial to me.
